Question:Is a deep necklift something different from just a necklift? Can explain what this is and what it treats?
Answer: I am not exactly sure what a deep necklift is, but I do perform a deep plane facelift and that involves going underneath the SMAS layer or the fibrous layer of the face so that some releasing ligaments can be taken down and this will allow for a more significant and more natural lift than a standard facelift. Ultimately, in my opinion it is always wise to seek out an experienced facial plastic surgeon so that a variety of different facelift and necklift techniques can be discussed and one that would most benefit your specific anatomy can be chosen for your specific procedure.
