Dr. Andrew Campbell has been a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS - www.aafprs.org) since 1995. He is board certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery (ABFPRS - www.abfprs.org) and the American Board of Otolaryngology (ABOto - www.aboto.org)

Following his graduation from the Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. Campbell was accepted at his top choice for residency, the University of Cincinnati, where he spent one year in a general surgery internship followed by four full years training in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery. In his last year of training, Dr. Campbell was presented with the Altar Peerless Memorial Award for recognition as the most outstanding chief resident. During this time, he spent years in training with several outstanding facial plastic surgeons, mastering techniques in facial rejuvenation and facial reconstruction.

Dr. Campbell has authored many medical articles and book chapters. He loves to teach and was invited by the ABFPRS to administer the oral exam to certify new medical doctors applying for the facial plastic surgery specialty. His practice focus is cosmetic surgery including: face lifts, revision face lift, rhinoplasty (nose), revision rhinoplasty, browlift/eyelift, otoplasty (ear), chin and cheek implants, fat grafting, and many other innovative surgical and laser procedures.

Dr. Campbell is also active in Face to Face (www.facetofacesurgery.org), an organized international effort by facial plastic surgeons across the nation to provide education to physicians and surgical care to less fortunate patients in other parts of the world. “These missions are truly a humbling experience and one way I can use my ‘gifts’ to help others less privileged,” said Dr. Campbell. The domestic branch of Face to Face was developed as a partnership with the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) to help victims of domestic abuse, assisting these individuals to break the cycle of violence, enhance their self-esteem and rebuild their lives. Consultation and surgery are offered pro-bono to eligible individuals.

Dr. Campbell has also received advanced training in laser procedures and non-surgical rejuvenation techniques, and is the medical director of Quintessa Medical Spa, a multi-laser and medical skin care spa. Dr. Campbell believes that all successful cosmetic surgery procedures begin and end with proper skin care.

As an established facial plastic surgeon in Sheboygan, Wisconsin , Dr. Andrew Campbell's reputation as a highly trustworthy and forward-thinking surgeon was confirmed by his election as president of the Sheboygan County Medical Society, a 60-member organization. He and his wife Heidi and their four children live in Sheboygan, where fishing, wakeboarding, biking, auto racing, snowboarding, and snow skiing are among their many interests. They also enjoy traveling, fine dining, and collecting wine.

Our Nursing Staff

Our nursing staff is comprised of mostly registered nurses with advanced training in critical care, surgery, and post-anesthesia care. All of our staff focus on continuing education by learning up to date procedures and techniques in outpatient surgery. Our dedicated staff takes pride in assisting you from the time you walk in the door until you have achieved your desired result.

Heidi Campbell, R.N.

Heidi joined the Campbell Facial Plastic Surgery office in 2002 and continues to serve there as a registered nurse. She is also the Director of the Quintessa Medical Spa, a clinical medical laser technician, and a skin care specialist. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University in 1988, and then worked as a registered nurse in neonatal and pediatric intensive care units in Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio.

Heidi has a great interest in esthetics and advanced skin care, and has had extensive training, including:

• Certification on the Sciton Profile™ System, Candela lasers, and Lumenis® Vasculight lasers
• Completion of the Masters course in Lumenis® Systems
• Training in the Obagi Nu-Derm® Skin Care System
• Completion of an advanced course in microdermabrasion techniques and applications offered by Aviderm
• Education on chemical peels and product protocols

Heidi Hess, L.P.N.

Heidi Hess received her licensed practical nursing degree from Lakeshore Technical College, and has worked as a nurse since 1980. Her 18-year career at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan was spent in a variety of medical areas, providing her with an extensive nursing background. She came to work with Dr. Andrew Campbell to fulfill her desire to focus on permanent cosmetics and the overall aesthetics of the face. Five years prior to joining Campbell Facial Plastic Surgery, Heidi had a permanent eyeliner procedure herself and was so impressed with the results that she wanted to share the feeling with others. In 2002, she became certified as a permanent cosmetic technician and has been performing permanent eyeliner and eyebrows in the Quintessa Medical Spa since that time.

Heidi lives with her husband and three daughters in Sheboygan, and she enjoys outdoor activities and sewing. She continues her extensive research and reading about facial care and beauty.

Gail Hendricks, Surgical Technologist

Gail has a technical degree as an operating room assistant from the Northeast Wisconsin Technical Institute, 1979. She was a certified surgical technician for 25 years at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, as part of an operating team that performed general, vascular, orthopedic, ophthalmology, and otolaryngology surgeries. For the last eight years, Gail has been first assistant to facial plastic surgeon Dr. Campbell in Sheboygan for cosmetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgery procedures.

Gail began working exclusively for Dr. Andrew Campbell in 2004, and today serves as Dr. Campbell's surgical assistant and patient care coordinator, thus helping to ensure top-notch surgical outcomes.

Renee Meyer, Aesthetician

Renee Meyer, our Quintessa Medical Spa aesthetician, graduated from the Mequon/Thiensville School of Esthetics in 2003, with Advanced Medical Esthetics training in 2004, and became a state-certified Aesthetician. She has certification in the use of chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser including Sciton Profile™ and Candela lasers; Lumenis® Systems; IPL laser hair removal; and the DermaQuest® Skin Therapy clinical skin care product line. Her spa industry experience includes body wraps, facials, water treatments, waxing, microdermabrasion, intense pulsed light photorejuvenation treatments, skin peels, and makeup application.

Renee lives in Sheboygan with her two sons. She enjoys reading and traveling, and she keeps up to date on fitness, nutrition, and general skin care news.
