Wrinkle Fillers are a great way to smoother skin
Gravity, sun exposure, and the repetition of normal facial muscle movements all contribute to the natural aging process. Lines and creases form in the skin as the underlying tissue breaks down. Soft-tissue fillers can create a smoother, more youthful appearance by filling in lines and creases with volume and fullness. Dr. Campbell uses facial fillers that are made of materials that naturally occur in the body and are administered by injections. Using his artistic eye and surgeon's expertise, Dr. Campbell can provide amazing rejuvenation with little to no down time.
What can Facial Fillers do
Facial fillers are used for the following purposes:
- Very deep lines on the face and neck
- Deep frown lines between the brows
- Pronounced crow's feet next to the eyes
- "Smoker's lines" disappear
- Flat, sunken cheeks can become fuller, more youthful
- Create smoother and more contoured smile lines
- Remove wrinkles at the corner of the mouth, and vertical lip lines
- Correct acne scars and facial defects
- Fill dark hollows under the eyes
- Enhance lip definition and volume
- Marionette lines below the corner of the lips can be filled
- Correct asymmetrical facial features
Dr. Campbell frequently treats patients at Quintessa Medical Spa with injectibles like Restylane® or Perlane®, Juvederm Ultra®, Juvederm Ultra Plus®, and Radiesse™ to create immediate and striking results.

What are Facial Fillers
Injectibles like Restylane®, Perlane®, Juvederm Ultra®, and Juvederm Ultra Plus® are the most common treatments, and only take minutes to perform in an office visit. Restylane®, Perlane® and Juvéderm® are made of non-animal based hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that exists in the body. When injected, it remains soft and pliable and takes on the characteristics of the surrounding tissue. Results appear immediately and last from six to nine months.
Semi-permanent enhancement filler agents like Radiesse™ (formally called Radiance™) do a nice job of filling deeper folds like the smile lines. It can also do a wonderful job enhancing the cheek region, almost like having cheek implants. Radiesse™ is made from a synthetic compound of calcium hydroxylapatite combined with an aqueous gel. When injected, it feels soft and natural and takes on the characteristics of the surrounding tissue. Its effects are immediate and will last one to two years with occasional touch-ups.
Combination Therapy:
BOTOX® Cosmetic and Facial Fillers
Using BOTOX® Cosmetic and soft-tissue fillers together can have a more dramatic effect than using either treatment alone. At Quintessa Medical Spa, our trained staff can determine if this approach is the best solution to your specific concerns.
Combination therapy can be a great choice for improving the following conditions:
- Very deep lines on the face and neck
- Deep frown lines between the brows
- Forehead creases diminish
- Pronounced crow's feet next to the eyes
- "Smoker's lines" disappear
- Flat, sunken cheeks can become fuller, more youthful
- Create smoother and more contoured smile lines
- Remove wrinkles at the corner of the mouth, and vertical lip lines
- Correct acne scars and facial defects
- Fill dark hollows under the eyes
- Enhance lip definition and volume
- Improve lowset brows with a chemical browlift
- Marionette lines below the corner of the lips can be filled
- Improve muscle bands under the chin
- Correct asymmetrical facial features
Because both BOTOX® Cosmetic and facial fillers are administered through injections, the combination therapy can be done quickly with little discomfort.
